Start a subscription

Starting your Moonlock subscription is quick and secure. If you’ve ever activated a subscription in CleanMyMac, the process will feel familiar. Just follow these steps:

01. Open Moonlock

Launch the Moonlock app on your Mac. If you don’t have it installed yet, download it from macpaw.com/store or get it via Setapp.

02. Go to Account or Activation

In the app, click on the Moonlock menu in the top-left corner and choose Activate Plan or Unlock Full Version. You may also find this option in the app’s sidebar under Account or Preferences.

03. Sign in or create a MacPaw account

You’ll be prompted to sign in using your MacPaw account. If you don’t have one yet, you can create it right from the app using your email address.

04. Choose a subscription plan

Select the subscription that works best for you:

• 1 Mac, 2 Macs, or 5 Macs.
• Monthly or annual billing.

You’ll see a summary of what’s included and the price.

05. Complete the purchase

Enter your payment details through MacPaw’s secure checkout system. Once the transaction is complete, your subscription will be instantly activated.

06. You’re all set

Moonlock will now unlock all features included in your plan. Your subscription status can be viewed or managed at any time from Account > Subscription in the app.

If you used CleanMyMac or any other MacPaw’s solution before, you’ll find managing Moonlock subscription easy. And if this is your first MacPaw product, you’ll find it easy too. Whether you want to switch plans, update billing, or cancel your subscription, here’s how to do it:

01. Go to Your MacPaw Account

Sign in using your email credentials.

02. Navigate to Subscriptions

Once signed in, go to the Subscriptions section. Find Moonlock in your list of active products.

Now, here’s the important part. You can either change your plan or cancel your subscription. Choose wisely:

04. Confirmation

You’ll receive a confirmation email once your changes take effect. You can reactivate your subscription anytime through your MacPaw Account or directly in the Moonlock app.
